About Sewells Point Golf Course
Sewells Point Golf Course is a Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) facility dedicated to providing excellent experiences to service members and their families. The course and services provided have recently become accessible to the public. The eighteen-hole par seventy-one golf course was established in nineteen twenty-seven and was designed by Donald Ross. There is a fully-stocked pro-shop, a snack bar with catering available, and a ballroom and pavilion for events. There are Professional Golf Association (PGA) certified instructors that specialize in club fittings and lessons. In conclusion, Sewells Point Golf Course is a well-maintained and operated MWR facility that delivers excellent customer service.

Enjoyed another great round at this well maintained golf course. Rained over night and had a little light rain during our round but the course was very playable. Greens were soft and forgiving and the tee boxes were clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend this course and plan to play often in the future.

Trees make it a little tight, greens were in overall good shape. Got behind the league which made for slow play.

Had the water lock while I was there the course was good but everything was close cause the water was down check before you go for a base it's crazy that it's been down so long.

The course is in great shape. Greens are rolling perfect. Worth the cost to play! I give a 1 star mainly because of the starter. My freind was running late 5min behind a 10:07 tee time. The starter was pushing me to tee off early, asked me 4 times prior to the tee time where my friend was. Keep saying youre holding me up when nobody else was there to tee off after my time. Caused me anxiety for no reason. I ended up teeing off without my friend so I didnt have to listen to the starter, as I was teeing the guy annouced it on the loud speaker. Introduced me teeing off like a tournament. HE DID NOT DO THIS FOR ANY OTHER GROUP TEEING OFF THAT MORNING!!!! MY friend made it when I was done with the first hole. We proceedes to play the round as we got to the 7th hole we realizes we are 2 holes infront of the next group. Thats not what you call a packed slate of tee time. The starter is not out there all the time but beware he is very push and you will bogey the first hole.

First time playing today and I'm glad I did because this is a great Donald Ross course. It plays longer visually than on the scorecard. Course conditions were above average and the thick bermuda rough was nice for a change. Clean tee boxes!! Fairly easily course if you can keep it in the fairway. I'd highly recommend playing here at least once. EDIT: I later found out this is not a Donald Ross design. Still a great course that feels different from other courses in the area.
